Stephanie Rodenhiser is a master ranking sixth degree black belt and holds the title of Shihan or Master Instructor with the Uechiryu Butokukai. She has been training with Mr. Durkin for over two decades and currently works with both kids and adults as the Head Instructor. She has gone up through the ranks of the STORM (Special Team of Role Models) program and currently teaches STORM classes to students who aspire to teach. After training in the weapons program, she also teaches how to use bo, sai, tonfa, and katana.

Stephanie has helped run large events such as Uechi-Con, black belt tests, kyu-rank tests, black belt graduations, karate tournaments, and various training seminars. She will often run instructional seminars on learning how to teach. In addition to teaching and training, Stephanie designs artwork. She’s designed artwork for clothing, edited the graduation yearbook of the Uechiryu Butokukai, updated websites, and created countless posters, postcards, and other hand outs.

Stephanie graduated from Northern Essex Community College in 2020, majoring in psychology. She has been certified in CPR and Crowd Management. Twice a year, she donates blood when Buzz Durkin’s Karate School hosts the Red Cross blood drives.
